Jerry Gil & Company is a New York company that spans 8 decades and 3 generations. We are extremely passionate about fine quality colored gemstones, and cherry pick each and every gemstone that we buy. Our clients know that we only offer them the finest cut and color of each variety of gemstone that we offer. Since our inception in the 1950's, we have only been in the colored stone business.. we are considered experts in our field, and are leaders in our industry. TRAVEL
Paraiba, Brazil
Our fine collection of Paraiba Tourmaline comes from the mines in the state of Paraiba, Brazil. The material from Brazil has incredible neon blue color and excellent glow.
Mozambique
We source fine quality Paraiba Tourmaline from the mines in Mozambique. Many experts believe that Africa and South America were once connected, and that's why this beautiful copper-bearing material originally discovered in Brazil has also been found in Mozambique.
Tanzania
We travel to Tanzania to source Tanzanite, Tsavorite and Spinel. Tanzanite only comes from one place.. Tanzania. Tsavorite and Spinel originate from several countries, but the best material comes from Tanzania.
Mexico
There's only one gemstone that we source from Mexico.. Fire Opal. It's Intense Red Orange colors are rivaled by not other gemstone. Mexico produces the finest Fire Opal.
Nigeria
We source many of our fine Pink, Green and Rubellite Tourmalines, and also Aquamarine from the mines in Nigeria. Nigeria is one of Africa's largest producers of gemstones.
Thailand
Thailand is where we go to source Rubies and Sapphires. We source both fine quality Corrundum material and also commercial grade for mass production.
